February 8, 2023 Gummow named interim head coach at Salem State Salem State officials announced that assistant coach Andrew Gummow has been elevated to interim head coach for the 2023 season.
March 15, 2022 Salem State undefeated in Florida, Altoona makes statement Salem State made it 4-0 on their spring trip with a doubleheader sweep of New England College. Penn State-Altoona earned a statement win, defeating defending national champions Salisbury.
July 28, 2021 Falcon to lead Salem State School officials announced that Jason Falcon has been hired as the new head coach at Salem State. Falcon, who has over 20 years of coaching experience at the Division I and Division III levels recently served as the pitching coach at The University of Albany.
May 14, 2021 Vikings claim 2021 MASCAC championship Salem State claimed the 2021 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference title, sweeping the Fitchburg State Falcons, 10-6, 10-5 on Friday afternoon at Riccards Field.
April 19, 2019 Keskinidis opens Salem State's day with no-no Senior Stephen Keskinidis fired a no-hitter against the Fitchburg State Falcons in a dominating performance on Friday afternoon. Keskinidis, struck out five and walked three to lead the Vikings to a 1-0 MASCAC victory in game one of a scheduled doubleheader.
April 1, 2019 Keystone wins on the road, while Tufts rolls at home. Keystone earned a key regional win on the road from Alvernia on Monday. Up north of Boston, Tufts hung a 30 spot on Salem State. Out in Michigan it was Hope winning for the 15th time in sixteen games and Kalamazoo upsetting No. 15 Adrian.
